Therapy or Coaching?
Therapy
Psychotherapy elicits change from the inside out. Therapy is a process designed to address emotional, psychological, and mental health concerns. We will focus on understanding and resolving past traumas, unresolved issues, and emotional struggles that might be impacting your present well-being. The primary aim of therapy is to promote healing, increase self-awareness, and enhance your emotional stability. I will work with you to explore deep-rooted emotions and patterns that might be limiting your ability to live a fulfilling life. If you struggle with anxiety, depression, or complex issues with family, partners, or friends - therapy is likely a better choice for you.
Timeline
Therapy is typically open-ended and might last for several months or even years, depending on the complexity of the issues being addressed. The duration of therapy is often flexible and can be adjusted as you progresses through your healing journey.
Coaching
Coaching elicits change from the outside in. Unlike therapy, coaching generally assumes that clients are mentally and emotionally healthy and capable of creating positive change and does not aim to treat psychological problems. Coaching is a collaborative, goal-directed process to inspire you to maximize your personal and professional potential. You and I will form a partnership to develop and achieve goals that will facilitate change. Our conversations will be direct, personal, and can sometimes be challenging. My job is to keep you motivated and accountable!
Timeframe
Coaching is more time-limited and goal-oriented. We will collaborate to define a specific timeframe, typically spanning weeks or months, during which we will work towards achieving your goals.
